Craig Carrel, Co-owner and President of Team 1 Plastics, a plastic injection molding company for the transportation industry, was recently honored by the Marshall Public Schools (MPS) for his support of the school district. At the school’s annual Welcome Back Community Breakfast held on August 30, 2017, Carrel was announced as the recipient of the Golden Apple Award, which, according to Dr. Randy Davis, Superintendent of MPS, is given “on an annual basis, to recognize a community member or members who have been especially supportive of our schools.” In announcing the award, Davis shared these remarks, “Craig and Team 1 Plastics was an initial sponsor of our robotics program.
